Printing Since 1985

  • MTA Digital Ltd was founded in 2004 by John Sinnott. From a history of reprographics which began in 1985 MTA Reproductions, as it was known then, evolved from bring a reprographics specialist into a full digital printing company. Driven by the technological changes in the early 2000’s the company and personnel had to embrace a steep learning curve to take on these changes but had the advantage of a colour specialist background to give the company the edge in terms of quality and service.

1. What makes MTA Digital different from other print companies?

We combine large-format expertise with high quality small-format print.  All under one roof. Whether it’s a one-off install, a stack of flyers, or a full campaign, we’re fast, flexible, and honest. Based in London, we’re built for tight deadlines, but we never cut corners.

2. Do I need to supply finished artwork, or can you help with design?

We can work from final artwork or help you get there. If your design is ready to print, great… just send it over. If you need help refining an idea or creating artwork that works across different formats, our team can support you from concept to completion.

3. How quickly can you turn a job around?

We're fast…  and if it’s urgent, we can sometimes print and deliver the same day, especially for small-format work on our Indigo press. Being based in London makes that possible. That said, we’re big believers in doing things properly. Most jobs turn around in 24–48 hours from proof approval, and a bit more time always leads to a better finish, smoother install, and less stress for everyone involved. If you're in a real bind, we’ll always do our best , just let us know what you need.

4. What types of projects do you specialise in?

We specialise in projects that need more than just print, they need precision, craft, and proper installation. That includes large-format graphics, wall vinyls, signage, and full wallpaper installations, which we’re particularly known for. We also produce flyers, menus, brochures, and other small-format work, so whether you’re dressing a space or producing sharp printed collateral, we’ve got it covered.

5. Can you install everything too?

Yes. Our experienced team installs across London and beyond, covering vinyl graphics, signage, wallpapers, hoardings, and more. We’ll always arrive prepared, work cleanly, and even handle out-of-hours installs if needed.

6. Do you offer sustainable print options?

We do. From recyclable boards to eco-friendly inks and PVC-free vinyls, we offer a growing list of greener materials. Let us know what matters to you, we’ll guide you through the options without the greenwashing.

7. How should I set up my artwork for print?

You can check out our full checksheet here but here’s the short version:

  • Supply print-ready PDFs at 100% scale
  • Use CMYK colour mode where possible (RGB will be converted, but colours may shift slightly)
  • Add 3mm bleed (or 50mm for large-format or fabric graphics)
  • Outline all fonts, embed all images, and clearly label your files
  • For cut-to-shape work, use a magenta ‘Cut Contour’ spot line on a separate layer
  • Aim for 300dpi resolution — and at least 72dpi minimum
  • If you're unsure, just send it — we’ll check it over and flag anything that might cause issues
