Frequently Asked Questions About Artwork For Printing
In this article, we’ll answer several of the questions we get asked most about artwork and the details associated with printing. Hopefully this helps, but if you have a question that isn’t covered here, please feel free to call us directly, or drop us a message and we will get back to you with an answer ASAP.
Should The File Be Set Up In CMYK Or RGB Format?
We require artwork to be set up in CMYK format please. This ensures true colour representation in the final print. RGB can be used on digital screens, but not for printing – CMYK is essential for accurate colour representation.
Does The Artwork Require Bleed?
Yes please, artwork should include a bleed of between 3 and 5 mm. This is so that there are no white edges left after trimming, giving you a polished and professional finish for your materials.
What Is The Largest Size You Can Print?
The sky’s the limit really. We can print anything from a business cards to a full building wrap. For specific projects, however, we recommend getting in touch to discuss your needs with our team to determine the best approach.
